"We have always wanted an extended photoshoot, but with the kids being so small it was always a worry we would get to the shoot location and the kids would act up and not want to participate. Well not in this case, Sarah was so calm, cool and collected during the entire shoot, it was like she just came along for a play date with us!

"We were feeling a bit nervous about baby staying settled throughout the session, and whether we would all be comfortable in front of the camera. But Sarah was calm and relaxed throughout the session, encouraged us to do whatever we needed to do with baby (feeding, soothing, nappy changes). "Sarah did an amazing job with our newborn photoshoot! All communication leading up to our session was warm and more like talking to a friend than to a service provider. After all, you’re welcoming her in your home likely before family and friends have met your new baby.

Our favourite part about the photoshoot experience with Sarah was her patience and to see how much she enjoys her job (getting the camera back out a couple of times to capture special moments after the session had been over already).

Life was already busy but as a new mum of four you can imagine it gets every busier, I was worried about getting newborn photos done because I didn’t really want to leave the house and the possibility of my older children and newborn being unsettled was stressful but Sarah was amazing!

She came to my house which made the whole experience easier from the start, she was great with the whole family and the photoshoot was so calm, smooth and enjoyable! I love how flexible and relaxed Sarah is and it flowed through to the rest of us, especially me. I love the way she captures beautiful and natural moments for us.

Having both photos and videos to look back on are truly special, I never got videos of my older children and after seeing it, I wish I had! Watching the video brought happy tears to my eyes, thinking we will get to hold onto these memories and look back and see them in motion, the little toe curls, the sweet little hands, the little details she captures and seeing our family come together.

"I met Sarah through our kindergarten where she captured beautiful images of our daughter. It was just the sign I was looking for to book a family photoshoot that I’d been thinking about for years.

Prior to the photoshoot, I was worried about how many good photos we would actually be able to get with both a 2 and 4 year old, especially in winter, but the shoot exceeded my expectations. Both our girls had a fantastic time running around, dancing and laughing. We even had a surprise visit from some kangaroos hopping by! The last photos we had done, I was six months pregnant with my first child! I've always wanted to have our family photographed but where to start!…

I think for me, the biggest worry was what to wear and how to put it all together and not look so matchy matchy! I still wanted our unique style to show through. Sarah's website had a great colour pallet of what colours go well together and then all I needed to do was choose which best suited our family and head to our wardrobes. I was still able to put together outfits that showed our unique style as a family.

The whole photo shoot experience was relaxed and easy. The location and view were spectacular and especially as the sun was setting. I loved the way she encourages you to just be yourself and interact with your family and she goes to work and captures moments you didn't even realise were possible to get on film or photo.

I personally loved the film she put together for us and the music paired with it made it come to life and brought tears of joy as I watched it back. 

I'd highly recommend Sarah to any friends or family wanting a photo shoot. She is easy to work with, she has great ideas of how to capture your moments by just letting you be and not being too "set up" and "staged". She is awesome with interacting with kids - she is a mum herself. Sarah takes the stress out of the lead up to the shoot and also during the shoot.
